Free e-books can be found on the Internet at a number of sites. Bexley Council libraries provide a useful list of links to over 100,000 e-books, e-poems etc. Note that not all the links may be accessible with screen reader or Braille output. Bexley library webpages

E-books are available to buy from a wide range of sources, e.g. Amazon, WH Smith, Penguin; however, note that some software readers have security and encryption features that prevent screen reading/text-to-speech software working.

Books published only on the Internet are available at www.onlineoriginals.com

E-audio books are available from www.audible.co.uk and e-books published in the Adobe format have a 'Read Out Loud' feature, but this must be enabled by the publisher to allow the user to access it.
